Before the break I visited Friday Frenzy to tell you about Milton Keynes Summer Camp and invite you to an event called ‘A Taste of Camp‘.  I’ve been attending/organsing Camp for the past 21 years, and would love to have you guys from Friday Frenzy join us this year.  Obviously you don’t know a lot about Camp at the moment, and I didn’t have long enough to tell you about it when I visited.  So we’ve put together the Taste of Camp event to let you experience a bit of Camp and have the opportunity to find out what we get up to, and find answers to your questions.

The Taste of Camp event is happening this Saturday, 27th February from 7-9:30pm, at the Water Eaton Church Centre (my Church)  where we’ve played sports a couple of times during half term.  I hope that you’ll be able to come along – feel free to bring your parents too so they know all about Camp.

Friday Frenzy Programme.

Next week (December 4th):
Friday Frenzy wont be meeting up for a couple of weeks as due to the lack of leaders how ever we will be meeting up on December the 4th for Kareoke night. I will try to buy some things for the club and bring it in then as well. How ever I cannot promise.

Well last week we all met up to do some planning with a normal clubnight. Keep thinking of ideas we can use the money for. The ideas I have at the moment is:    Wii Games and accesories (Mario Kart, Singing game, Dance mat Game) and a New stereo.

NEXT WEEK!

This week we are meeting up at Bletchley leisure centre for the last opportunity to swim before the close down the pool. I am really bad and forgot what time we’re meeting. Sorry guys lol. Check with Mary. Think it was 6 o’clock but cant be sure. Sorry lol. I am working this Friday I’m affraid so I wont be joining you untill next week and hopefully I will have some goodies.

Sorry this update has taken so long and sorry about not up dating last week. I have had no internet .

Anyway just a quick update to let you know about this week which is sleepover week. We will ALL BE MEETING at Sue’s house for 7PM SHARP. We will then go for a walk to go and get some chips from the chip shop. Then when we come back the Girls will be staying at Sue’s and the boys will go back to the Frank Moran center were they will sleep over. You will then have to be picked up at 10pm.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

*Sleeping bag and sleeping equipment
*Tourch for the walk and during the night

I will not be able to join you this week as I am working but have a great time and if someone wants to write me an email of what you did, I will put it onto the website. Maybe take some pictures to like a little journel were you went step by step. Email me them as well.

The following wekk we will not be meeting up as it is half tearm but have a nice half term and when we come back it will be club night and planning.

Next week:
We say Goodbye to one of our Leaders. Kathryn will be leaving us next week so we are having a fancy dress party in her honour. With some party food as well. There is no dress theme and it is usually sub cost of £1.50.

Important:
Ok so here is all the important bits and peices, it is £5 (Discount rate) for 2 games or Quasar. Everone meet up a the liesure Plaza at 6.45 SHARP. Each game lasts about 20 minutes so we should be finished for 8 o’clock.

Mary said that she would be ringing round people and asking if they would like to come. However if you do not recieve a phone call by thursday evening, send me an email saying you want to come and I will let her know.

Last week:

We all met up again at the frank Moran Centre for a club night and planning. It was great to see how many turned up. Sad to see not everone was able to make it. We had loads of ideas to do over the coming weeks. From sleepover’s (again) to tennis and badminton. Kat also managed to come which was great and we have planned a going away party for here later on in the coming weeks. Dont forget people that subs have increased to £1.50 so we can afford to do all these wonderful things.

This Week:
We are at the Frank Moran Centre with a talent night. If anyone needs music or any sounds. LET ME KNOW ASAP SO I CAN GET IT!

Also something extra: A Happy Birthday is in order for one of leaders. Happy Birthday Mary hope you had a wonderful day.

• forgetting Herman’s name and instead call him ‘Herbert’
• trudging through the woods in the rain and mud
• who can forget finding the mouse in the kitchen bin
• trying to finish my essays whilst you were all watching movies
• endless walks to and around Furzton lake
• high-energy evenings at my Church Centre
• my first Friday Frenzy sleepover at Sue and Keith’s house

I’ve been looking back through the Friday Frenzy photos and videos; happy memories.  Can’t believe how young you all looked when I started:

Thank you for the lovely comments in my card and one Facebook, for the chocolates, and to Mo for the other gifts and Tracy’s flowers.  Just a few comments before I go:

• Take care of Sue on her return
• Make sure Herbert, I mean Herman, doesn’t over-do it either.
• Mary is an an absolute star and works much harder than anyone realises.
• Make sure Kat keeps making Chocolate Brownies!! {and save some for me}
• Go easy on Josh, Josh & Nick as they continue to settle into their new role as Junior Leaders.
